REGARDING the letter sent by Drs Barnes, High, Singh, Abedi, Yeo, Patel and Bhagat (Letters, Advertiser, June 18), as a fellow local GP I find it curious that they somehow neglected to mention the fact that some (or all) of them are paid officials (and therefore effectively civil servants) of Enfield Primary Care Trust which has come up with these plans at the behest of the Department of Health. more
